The third volume of the series " Converters and Inverters of Energy in Traction Drives (Part 3)" is printed and now available. Please contact us via the contact page for your personal copy.
It is dedicated to pulse inverters. In the introduction, the step up and step down structures of the inverters are discussed in detail. By interconnecting of them the parallel and serial structures of 2q inverters are formed. Further expansion of the structures leads to the single and three-phase bridges. The analytical description of the pulse inverters is based on the same switching distribution, which was already introduced in tapes 1 and 2.I
